Sports Business

As the designated manager of Tokyo metropolitan sports facilities including Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium, Tokyo Budokan, and Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground, Tokyo Sport Benefits Corporation conducts various businesses which take advantage of the special characteristics of each respective facility, so that users may intimately experience and enjoy sports throughout their entire lives, regardless of age, presence of a disability, or physical condition. We are simultaneously conducting various businesses to intimately experience sports and culture in venues such as Ajinomoto Stadium and the island district.
Business being conducted in the 2012 fiscal year is primarily as follows.

  • Activities to build physical strength in children, including programs for children to successfully experience sports and sports challenges that parents and children can enjoy participating in together.
  • Initiatives to promote sports among the working generation, including seminars to help adults make sports a regular fixture in their daily lives, and physical training seminars.
  • Exhibitions of popular sports designed to expand the population interested in sports.

Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground

  • Activities to build physical strength in children, including tree climbing exercises and Komazawa kids' wrestling days.
  • Initiatives to promote sports among the working generation, including women's volleyball meets.
  • Tokyo Sports Expo 2012, an event to commemorate Sports Day.
  • Initiatives to promote sports among the disabled, including soccer clinics for the disabled, and instructional classes for coaches and trainers regarding coaching the disabled.

  • Activities to build physical strength in children, including regional martial arts training for young people, and combined training for martial arts sports clubs.
  • Initiatives to promote sports among the working generation, including regional combined Judo training and women's volleyball meets.
  • Exhibitions of popular sports designed to expand the population interested in sports.
