Access 

Access to the Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground. Whether coming by train, bus, car, or from the airport, the following explains the easiest ways to get to Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium from the nearest stations.


By train

    From Tokyo Station

  • From Tokyo Station, board the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line and change trains at Otemachi Station. Board the Hanzomon Line (connects to the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line) to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Shinagawa Station

  • From Shinagawa Station, board the JR Yamanote Line, and change trains at Shibuya Station. Board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Ueno Station

  • From Ueno Station, board the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and change trains at Omotesando Station. Board the Hanzomon Line (connects to the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line) to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Shinjuku Station

  • From Shinjuku Station, board the JR Yamanote Line, and change trains at Shibuya Station. Board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Shibuya Station

  • From Shibuya Station, board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Ikebukuro Station

  • From Ikebukuro Station, board the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line Express, and change trains at Shibuya Station. Board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Yokohama Station

  • From Yokohama Station, board Tokyu Toyoko Line and then change to Tokyu Den-en Toshi Line at Shibuya Station in order to travel to Komazawa Daigaku Station.
  • From Omiya Station

  • From Omiya Station, board JR Saikyo Line and then change to Tokyu Den-en Toshi Line at Shibuya Station in order to travel to Komazawa Daigaku Station.

  • Board the “渋82系統” (Shibuya 11 keitou) bus departing from Shibuya Station west exit bound for Todoroki, and get off at Komazawa Park west entrance. Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground is a 1-minute walk.

    From Haneda Airport

  • From the Haneda Airport Domestic Terminal Station, board the Keikyu Airport Line and change trains at Shinagawa Station. At Shinagawa Station, board the JR Yamanote Line, and change trains at Shibuya Station. Board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From the Haneda Airport bus terminal, board a limousine bus headed towards Shibuya Station. At Shibuya Station, board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Narita Airport

  • From Narita Airport Station or Narita Airport Terminal 2 Station, board the JR Narita Express, and change trains at Shibuya Station. At Shibuya Station, board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • From Narita Airport Station or Narita Airport Terminal 2 Station, board the Keisei Skyliner, and change trains at Nippori Station. At Nippori Station, board the JR Yamanote Line, and change trains at Shibuya Station. Board the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line to Komazawa-daigaku Station.
  • Access from Komazawa-daigaku Station

    【 Pedestrians 】

    Get off the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line at Komazawa-daigaku Station, and exit from the park exit. Proceed south on Jiyu-dori. If entering from the Komazawa Park east entrance:

  • Approx. 15 min. to the athletic fields (service center)
  • Approx. 20 min. to the Supported Sports Ground, no.2 ball sports ground, gymnasium, and center plaza.
  • Approx. 25 min. to the regulation baseball diamond, indoor ball sports field, No.1 ball sports ground, tennis courts, rubber baseball field, and japanese archery range.
  • 【 By bus 】

    Get off the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line at Komazawa-daigaku Station, and exit from the park exit. At the Komazawa-daigaku ekimae bus stop (in front of Maruetsu), board the Tokyu “渋11系統「田園調布駅行き」” (Shibuya 11 keitou “to Den-en-choufu Station”) bus. After approx. 4 min., get off at Komazawa Park east entrance or Tokyo Medical Center.

By car

    From Shuto Expressway Route 3

  • Get off at the Sangenjaya Ramp, enter Tamagawa-dori, and turn left at the Komazawa-daigaku ekimae intersection. Proceed about 800 meters up Jiyu-dori, and you will arrive at Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground.
  • From Tomei Expressway

  • Get off at Tokyo IC, turn right and enter Kanpachi-dori. Turn left at Seta intersection, enter Tamagawa-dori, and turn left at the Komazawa-daigaku ekimae intersection. Proceed about 800 meters up Jiyu-dori, and you will arrive at Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground.
  • From Shuto Expressway Route 4

  • Get off the Eifuku Ramp, turn right at Ohara intersection, and enter Kannana-dori. Proceed straight and turn right at Bajo intersection. Enter Tamagawa-dori and turn left at the Komazawa-daigaku ekimae intersection. Proceed about 800 meters up Jiyu-dori, and you will arrive at Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground.
  • From Daisan Keihin Road

  • Get off at Tamagawa IC, turn left and enter Kanpachi-dori. Turn right at Tamabidai-mae intersection, enter Komazawa-dori, and turn left at Tokyo Medical Center intersection. Proceed about 250 meters up Jiyu-dori, and you will arrive at Metropolitan Komazawa Olympic Park General Sports Ground.

Access from the nearest station

    【 Pedestrians 】

    Get off the Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line at Komazawa-daigaku Station, and exit from the park exit. Proceed south on Jiyu-dori. If entering from the Komazawa Park east entrance:
