Vision2025 Legacy Book
Leveraging the momentum of the World Athletics Championships and the Deaflympics, the two international
sporting events held in Tokyo in 2025, Tokyo Metropolitan Government has summarized “Vision 2025” as the
goals to be achieved through both events in order to opening up the future of Tokyo through the power of
sports and has been promoting various initiatives to pave the way for Tokyo’s future with a focus on the
post-event legacy in mind.
In January 2026, Tokyo Metropolitan Government summarized the achievements
of initiatives to date and the legacy brought about by both events in “Vision 2025 Legacy Book”.
