About us

The Tokyo Aquatics Centre is one of the facilities newly developed by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in the Tatsumi Forest Park for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
This is a certified swimming facility equipped with a main pool and a diving pool in compliance with the international standards, and one of the largest spectator seats in Japan (about 15,000 seats at the time of Tokyo 2020 Games, and 5,000 seats after the Tokyo 2020 Games).
It will be the venue for swimming competitions for the Tokyo 2020 Games (swimming, diving, and artistic swimming for Olympic / swimming for Paralympic).
After completion of the removal work following the Tokyo 2020 Games, it will be a venue for international and domestic swimming competitions, a place to train and develop athletes, and a facility where sports lovers can play sports and promote health.
